The Tamron 25-200mm f2.8-5.6 Di III VXD G2 Lens for Sony E-mount is a powerful all-in-one zoom lens designed for photographers who want maximum versatility without carrying multiple lenses. Covering an ultra-wide to telephoto range, this full-frame mirrorless lens is ideal for travel, street photography, portraits, landscapes, and everyday shooting.
With an expanded 25-200mm focal range, this second-generation lens offers greater flexibility than traditional standard zooms, allowing you to capture wide scenes, detailed close-ups, and distant subjects all with a single lens. The fast f2.8 aperture at the wide end enables excellent low-light performance and smooth background blur for creative depth-of-field control.
Equipped with Tamron’s advanced VXD autofocus system, the lens delivers fast, precise, and quiet focusing performance, making it suitable for both photography and video applications. The optical design incorporates specialized elements such as GM, LD, and XLD glass to minimize aberrations and deliver sharp, high-contrast images with accurate color reproduction.
A close focusing distance of just 6.3 inches at the wide end allows for impressive macro-style shooting with a 1:1.9 magnification ratio, making it perfect for capturing fine details and creative compositions.
Built for real-world use, the lens features a moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine-coated front element to repel water, dust, and fingerprints. Its compact and lightweight design makes it an excellent travel companion, while improved zoom and focus rings ensure smooth and precise handling.
Optimized for Sony full-frame E-mount cameras and compatible with Tamron Lens Utility software, this lens is a reliable, high-performance solution for photographers seeking convenience, quality, and flexibility in one package.

Dealt with these folks on a number of transactions! NEVER had a problem, shipping was quick and on time to say the least! Highly recommend these folks!!
I've bought several dSLR cameras and lenses from them over the years without any issues. They do call to up-sell accessories sometimes and to confirm some info, which is unusual. But other than that, everything has gone well.
